1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Jeeboo platform, including our website at jeeboo.app and our mobile applications ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. Jeeboo is a food delivery service operating in Cairo, Egypt, connecting customers with restaurants and delivery partners. These Terms apply to all users: customers who order food, restaurant partners who list their establishments, and delivery drivers who provide delivery services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By using Jeeboo, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business (e.g., a restaurant), you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Account Registration and Security
To place orders or access certain features, you must create a Jeeboo account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@jeeboo.app of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
4. Ordering and Payment
When you place an order through Jeeboo, you are entering into a contract with the restaurant for the supply of food. Jeeboo acts as an intermediary facilitating the transaction. You may pay by cash on delivery (COD) or by card through our secure payment processor. Card payments are charged at the time of order confirmation. A minimum order value of 120 EGP applies to all orders. Prices displayed include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Delivery fees are calculated based on distance (within a 7 km radius from the restaurant) and are shown before you confirm your order. Promotions and discounts are subject to their specific terms and may not be combined unless stated otherwise.
5. Delivery
Delivery is provided by Jeeboo's network of delivery partners within the covered areas. Estimated delivery times (typically 30–45 minutes) are indicative and may vary due to traffic, weather, or other factors. You are responsible for providing a correct and accessible delivery address. If you are unavailable to receive an order, the driver may attempt to contact you; repeated failed deliveries may result in order cancellation and applicable charges. Delivery is available only within the designated service areas and radius (7 km from the restaurant).
6. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel an order free of charge before the restaurant has started preparation. Once preparation has begun, cancellation may not be possible, or a cancellation fee may apply. For paid orders (card), refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. For cash orders, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you receive an incorrect, incomplete, or unsatisfactory order, contact support@jeeboo.app within 30 minutes of delivery. We will investigate and may offer a refund, replacement, or credit at our discretion.
7. Restaurant and Driver Partners
Restaurant partners are independent businesses. Jeeboo does not guarantee the quality, safety, or accuracy of restaurant offerings. Driver partners are independent contractors. Jeeboo facilitates the connection between users and partners but is not responsible for the actions of third parties. Partners must comply with all applicable laws, including food safety regulations and licensing requirements.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Egyptian law, Jeeboo and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order in question. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform—including logos, text, graphics, software, and design—is owned by Jeeboo or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. The Jeeboo name and logo are trademarks of Jeeboo.
10. Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cairo, Egypt.
